It will enable our advertisements to be displayed to you after you have finished browsing our website in your subsequent internet use. This is done by means of cookies stored in your browser, which are used by Google to record and evaluate your browsing activities when visiting various websites. This allows us to show you advertisements that are of interest to you, to make our website more interesting for you and to charge fairly for the advertisements we display.

12.2 Such advertising is provided by Google via “ad servers”. We use ad server cookies to achieve this. These allow us to track specific metrics on the success of advertisements, such as how often they have been displayed or have been clicked on by users. If you arrive at our website via a Google ad, Google AdWords will save a cookie in your computer. These cookies usually expire after 30 days and are not intended to identify you personally. These cookies usually save the following analysed information: the unique cookie ID, the number of ad views per placement (frequency), the most recent view (relevant for post-view conversions) and opt-out information (recording that the user no longer wishes to be targeted).

If a user visits particular pages on an AdWords customer’s website and the cookie stored on their computer has not expired, Google and the customer will be able to identify that the user clicked on the advertisement and was redirected to the advertiser’s website. Each AdWords customer is assigned a different cookie. This ensures that cookies cannot be tracked by the websites of AdWords customers. We ourselves collect and process no personal data from advertisements as described above. We only receive statistical reports from Google. Based on these reports, we can identify which advertisements have been particularly effective. We receive no further data from advertising, in particular we cannot identify users by means of this information.

12.4 By using marketing tools, your browser automatically establishes a direct connection with a Google server. We have no influence on how much data is collected by Google via such tools and how it is further used.
